Decatur Daily Class 1A-3A Boys all-area team

Besides Coach Garris making Coach of the Year, Elkmont also had 4 representatives on the Decatur Daily All Area teams.  The Decatur Daily released it's selections today.  Pick up up a copy of today's paper to read the complete articles.

First Team:   

Dan Logan, Sr., 6-0, C, Elkmont: 

The big man with the yellow mohawk was a force for the Red Devils in the lane. He averaged 12.7 points and seven rebounds a game, while shooting 38 percent from beyond the 3-point arc. Played a key role in Elkmont’s run to the 3A Northwest Regional final.












Second team:  Cole Glass, Sr., 6-4, F, Elkmont: 

Averaged 11.6 points and eight rebounds a game, while shooting 55 percent from the field.

Third team:

Skyler Gant, Sr., 6-0, G, Elkmont: 

Played a key role in the Red Devils’ success, averaging 10.4 points, six rebounds and four assists a game.
