RED DEVILS WIN FIRST GAME AT HOKES BLUFF

The Red Devils are playing in the Hokes Bluff Christmas Tournament this week. They slipped by Ashville after being behind for three quarters, 48-45. The Red Devils play Ashbury at 4:30 today.

The Elkmont Men's Varsity Team is playing in one of the many tournaments during Christmas break.  The Patrick Ball Memorial Christmas Classic will be December 21-23 at Hokes Buff. Their first game is December 21 @ 4:30 pm against Ashville.

ELKMONT VS WEST MORGAN

Elkmont hosted the West Morgan high school teams, December 13.

BOYS 
West Morgan 45, Elkmont 40: Gamon Morgan recorded a double-double as the Rebels erased an 18-point first-half deficit to top Elkmont.
Elkmont led 28-19 at halftime. Patrick Jobman led Elkmont with 12 points, and Noah Sharp scored nine.

GIRLS
West Morgan 64, Elkmont 29:
Audrey Houston led Elkmont with eight points, while Haven Kirby scored six.

Elkmont traveled to Elkton, Tennessee for a middle school matchup, December 8. 
 

The Middle School Lady Devils beat the Elkton Lady Elks, 35-10.

RED DEVILS WIN CHRISTMAS TOURNAMENT

The Middle School Red Devils won the Elkmont Invitational Tournament with a win over the East Limestone Indians, December 10. 
 

The Lady Devils took the win over Elkton to reach the finals.  However, they weren't able to pull ahead by the end of the final game against the East Lady Indians to gain the championship.

Our middle school teams will take the court again on Friday at home. The Clements Colts program will be coming to town. Middle school games start at 4 pm in the old gym.

The JV Red Devils added a win to their record. Elkmont shot 13 of their 19 free throws in the fourth quarter, making eight to put them over the top, 44-38.

ATHENS BIBLE SCHOOL
It was a stormy night but the JV girls and boys teams as well as the varsity girls were able to get their games finished.  All three teams won.  The varsity girls held the Lady Trojans at bay, 42-35. The varsity boys game was rescheduled for January once the tornado watch was issued.
