Another big night for our middle school teams; both have moved to the finals of the West Limestone Tipoff Tournament. The Lady Devils matched up with the Lady Wildcats of West Limestone in the first game of the night.
Elkmont jumped out to lead and never looked back. Improvements of court communication and solid defense helping secure the 33 to 13 win. The girls face Clements Thursday night at 6:15 in the championship. Go Big Red!

Middle School boys beat West last night 50-36. They will play again on Thursday @ 7:30 pm against Bradley Wales' Clements team for the championship.
Football season is over this Friday here on the hilltop. It is time to transition over to basketball season. The middle school program traditionally start theirs st the West Limestone Tipoff Tournament. Last night both of our teams opened up with games against the Ardmore Tigers. The girls tipped off the tournament with a big win over the Lady Tigers.
In the final seconds of game, Macee Bentley put Elkmont over the top with a layup for the nail biter win, 26-25. They will be playing West Limestone this evening at 5 pm.
Our middle school boys team also have moved to the next round with a win over Ardmore. They play against West tonight at 6:15.

The Hill Spirit is looking for game reporters from kindergarten up to varsity. You will only read about your team if someone reports the good news. It can be as simple as the teams playing, score and a few pictures but would love to read about the game and the box score ( summary of the game stats).
