ELKMONT YOUTH BASKETBALL STARTED TODAY

This was the opening weekend for Elkmont youth basketball.  Many of our young hilltoppers were playing today. Thanks to all our team reporters who took time to send in scores.  Hill Spirit will be adding more games as the scores come in.


5&6 CO-ED
Elkmont 1 over West Limestone, 20 - 0

Elkmont 2 over Owens 1

Elkmont 3 beat Ardmore 2,  8-2.

BOYS TEAMS
7&8:
Elkmont 1 scored a win over Creekside 3, 31-5.

Elkmont 1 

Elkmont 2 fell short against an older and taller East Limestone team, with a final score of 32-24. Preston Robinson's 11 points led Elkmont 2, with Jaishaun Eakins pitching in 5, Blake Brown scoring 4, and Josh Burrows and Hunter Broadway chipping in 2 points each.  The Red Devils play again at 4:00 pm on November 22 at Elkmont.

Elkmont 3 outscored Ardmore, 21-15 

GIRLS TEAMS
9&10:
Elkmont 1 wins against Blue Springs, 27-5

Elkmont 2 beat Ardmore, 16-6 
The Lady Devils hit 30% from the field; defensive effort held the Lady Tigers to six points.
