ELKMONT GOES TO BROOKS

The Elkmont basketball programs traveled to Brooks to take on the Lions, January 8.

BOYS
Varsity:
Brooks 48, Elkmont 47 
Keyshawn Roach hit a free throw with 0.8 seconds left as Brooks (13-4) edged Elkmont (4-15). Roach scored a game-high 15 points and Ben Singleterry added 12 for the Lions. Elkmont scored 21 points in the fourth, but came up empty in the end.

GIRLS
Varsity:
Brooks 45, Elkmont 31: Brooks held Elkmont scoreless in the second quarter to break open a tight game in collecting an area win. Amelia Davis had 13 points and Kelsey Hodges added 11 for the Lady Devils.

The younger Lady Devils brought home a win over Brooks, 38-30.
