TANNER RATTLERS EASE BY RED DEVILS

The Elkmont Red Devils traveled to Tanner on January 12 for their second meeting of the year.  The first game was at Elkmont and in a close game, Tanner won 52-49.  The game played at Tanner was all Tanner.  Jace Haggermaker, transfer from Clements, has added an commanding inside post game to the 2011 State Championship team that makes them even better and certainly a favorite to repeat in 2012.  


The Elkmont Red Devils who have playoff plans of their own have been struggling as of late to put together a solid game.   They were again plagued with another poor performance, shot only 37 times,  and scored a dismal 30 points with no player in double digits.   The leading scorers for Elkmont were Cole Glass, Daniel Logan and Skyler Gant with 8 points a piece.  This game has little of a positive note to write about and the box score tells it all.
